 Key Job Responsibilities
Quality System Implementation & Compliance
- Support the QA Manager in ensuring that all quality procedures are implemented, maintained, and comply with both Alghanim F&B brand standards and applicable international food safety requirements.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the Alghanim Food & Quality System across all brands and operational areas.
- Keep and ensure that all QA records are well organized, complete, current, and readily available for review or audit at all times.
- Follow up diligently with the operations team on all raised Non-Conformances (NCs) and ensure corrective actions are closed out within agreed timelines.
Store & Supplier Auditing
- Conduct audits of Alghanim F&B stores in different GCC markets based on the Alghanim Food Safety Checklist and defined auditing plans and schedules.
- Conduct audits of Alghanim F&B suppliers across multiple markets in line with the yearly supplier auditing calendar.
- Perform continuous quality monitoring on products, maintain accurate records of findings, and take necessary corrective actions promptly.
- Coordinate with laboratories, suppliers, and operations teams on required product analysis based on the defined testing plan.
- Analyze laboratory results and initiate appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) based on findings.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and send weekly and monthly quality department reports to the operations team and operations leaders, providing clear data-driven summaries of QA performance.
- Support the operations team with quality assurance requirements and deliver training on new QA standards as they are introduced or updated.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams — Store Operations, Training, Suppliers, and Support Office — to maintain alignment on food safety priorities.
Training & Food Safety Culture
- Work side by side with the Training Department to establish a comprehensive quality assurance training plan aligned with organizational food safety goals.
- Ensure that the QA training plan is actively implemented across stores and operational teams, monitoring completion and effectiveness.
- Support the operations team with quality assurance requirements and provide practical guidance on food safety standards implementation.
- Handle any additional tasks required to support the QA department in achieving the company’s quality and food safety goals.
 Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or any equivalent discipline — required
- HACCP training and strong working knowledge is a mandatory requirement — candidates without HACCP expertise will not be considered
- Additional food safety certifications (ISO 22000, internal auditor, food hygiene) are a valuable advantage
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in quality assurance within a food, beverage, FMCG, or food retail environment
- Hands-on experience conducting food safety audits — store-level or supplier-level — is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing QA records, coordinating laboratory testing, and driving corrective actions
- Prior experience in a multi-brand or multi-market QA role within the GCC is a significant advantage
Personal & Technical Skills
- Friendly, engaged, and outgoing personality — able to work effectively and build positive relationships with all Food and Beverage staff across diverse environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English — very good to fluent level required
- Strong computer proficiency including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple audit schedules, records, and action plans simultaneously
- Adaptable and comfortable working across different types of store, supplier, and operational environments across the GCC
