 Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Quality Ownership

  • Own and manage end-to-end quality across all manufacturing and supply chain operations from raw material intake to finished product dispatch.
  • Ensure product quality and food safety standards are consistently maintained at every stage of production and distribution.
  • Oversee factory quality, supplier and vendor quality programmes, and customer feedback loops in an integrated manner.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of quality standards across all functions.

Quality Systems, Certifications & Compliance

  • Lead and manage all quality systems, certifications, and compliance frameworks including ISO, FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRC, and equivalent standards.
  • Drive ongoing audit readiness and lead both internal and external audits to the highest professional standard.
  • Maintain full compliance with food safety regulations, local Saudi authority requirements, and international best practice standards.
  • Update and improve quality documentation, SOPs, and compliance records regularly to reflect current processes and standards.

Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence

  • Drive structured process improvement initiatives using CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Identify quality gaps, operational inefficiencies, and recurring non-conformances — and implement lasting, data-driven solutions.
  • Embed structured problem-solving and improvement thinking across quality, production, and supply chain teams.
  • Track, measure, and report on key quality KPIs to leadership teams with clear actions and timelines for improvement.

Customer Complaints & Supplier Quality

  • Manage all customer complaints end-to-end — from receipt and investigation through to root cause identification and corrective action implementation.
  • Oversee supplier and vendor quality programmes including assessments, approvals, performance monitoring, and non-conformance management.
  • Maintain strong customer quality relationships by ensuring rapid, professional, and transparent handling of all quality-related feedback.
  • Support commercial and supply chain teams in managing quality expectations across the regional market and distribution network.

Team Leadership & Quality Culture

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing quality teams capable of delivering consistent results in a demanding manufacturing environment.
  • Strengthen the organisation’s quality culture through targeted systems development, structured training programmes, and clear accountability frameworks.
  • Mentor and develop quality team members to grow technical skills, professional capability, and leadership potential over time.
  • Champion a culture of food safety, quality ownership, and continuous improvement at every level of the organisation.

 Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related technical or scientific discipline.
  • Advanced qualifications or professional certifications in quality management, food safety, or auditing are highly advantageous.

Experience Requirements

  • 6 to 12+ years of hands-on experience in FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing quality functions — this is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • Strong plant-level quality experience with direct, hands-on exposure to live production environments and factory floor operations.
  • Proven track record of managing quality systems and achieving certifications including ISO, FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRC, or recognised equivalents.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead internal and external audits with confidence and technical authority.
  • Solid experience managing end-to-end quality covering factory, supplier, and customer quality simultaneously across complex operations.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience managing, developing, and leading quality teams while working cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial departments.
