You will provide technical leadership to logistics coordinators, closely collaborate with regional teams on project logistics implementation, monitor shipments against shipping readiness, loading, and assembly milestones, and maintain rigorous SAP system data for logistics planning and cost tracking. This role sits at the intersection of green energy, global trade, and supply chain innovation.

Why This Role Matters: As Logistics Manager at ENERCON — a global wind energy pioneer — you are the operational engine that ensures wind turbine components move seamlessly from production facilities to installation sites worldwide. Your cross-border logistics expertise, SAP knowledge, Incoterms proficiency, and stakeholder coordination skills directly support ENERCON’s mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, renewable energy — making this one of the most purposeful logistics careers available in Germany in 2026.

 Key Responsibilities

Single Point of Contact — Regional & Global Logistics

  • Serve as the central Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all regional and global logistics activities within the ENERCON Group
  • Act as the primary interface between production facilities, regional logistics teams, shipping partners, and international project stakeholders
  • Ensure seamless, customer-focused logistics execution from project initiation through to final project completion across all ENERCON service lines

Technical Leadership of Logistics Coordinators

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to logistics coordinators regarding operational standards, new procedures, and best practice updates
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer to team members to ensure consistent, high-quality logistics execution across global projects
  • Support the professional development of logistics coordinators through structured on-the-job mentoring and process coaching

Project Logistics Coordination with Regional Teams

  • Maintain close coordination with ENERCON’s regional logistics teams worldwide to ensure smooth, timely implementation of project-specific logistics plans
  • Align cross-border logistics activities with project management timelines — covering shipping readiness weeks, loading weeks, and assembly weeks
  • Proactively identify and resolve logistics challenges arising from cross-border coordination, customs requirements, or transport delays

Shipment Monitoring & Milestone Tracking

  • Monitor all active shipments and conduct detailed comparison analysis of shipping readiness, loading, and assembly milestone weeks across global projects
  • Identify deviations from logistics plans and implement corrective measures to protect project delivery timelines and customer commitments
  • Provide accurate, timely shipment status updates to project teams and senior management through structured reporting frameworks

Logistics Cost Analysis & Budget Management

  • Analyse, monitor, and report on logistics costs against project budgets — ensuring full visibility of logistics expenditure across all active global projects
  • Identify cost optimisation opportunities within the supply chain and implement efficiency improvements in coordination with regional teams
  • Support the development of logistics budget frameworks and contribute to annual cost planning processes within Global Logistics

SAP System Data Planning & Maintenance

  • Plan, enter, and regularly update all relevant logistics system data in SAP to ensure accurate, real-time visibility of supply chain activities
  • Maintain data integrity across SAP logistics modules — supporting reliable reporting, milestone tracking, and cost management
  • Coordinate with IT and SAP super-users to resolve system issues and continuously improve SAP logistics data processes

 Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or a university degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline

  • Basic to intermediate SAP knowledge — with the ability to plan and update logistics system data across active projects
  • Experience in cross-border logistics coordination, project logistics, or international supply chain management is a strong advantage

Language & Soft Skills

  • Good German and English skills — both spoken and written — essential for coordinating with ENERCON’s international and German-speaking regional teams
