Position Overview
This Warehouse Team Lead role involves taking over technical and organizational leadership of warehouse team for Nova Biomedical life sciences company. You will ensure smooth, efficient, and safe flow of all warehouse processes, plan and steer daily operations, optimize logistics efficiency through continuous improvement, train and develop team members, manage inventory control and participate in stocktaking, and serve as central interface between employees, logistics management, and adjacent departments including Finance, Sales, and Support.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide professional leadership, motivation, and development of warehouse team
- Conduct onboarding of new employees and training sessions for skill development

Warehouse Operations Management
- Plan, steer, and monitor all daily warehouse processes and operations
- Ensure timely goods receipt, storage, order picking, and goods dispatch
- Maintain responsibility for order, cleanliness, and occupational safety in warehouse
- Coordinate warehouse activities supporting life sciences product distribution to 100+ countries
Process Optimization & Quality
- Drive optimization of warehouse processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Enhance efficiency and quality standards meeting FDA-registered ISO-certified requirements
- Implement best practices for warehouse management and logistics operations
- Monitor KPIs and develop strategies for operational excellence
Inventory Control & Documentation
- Control stocks and manage inventory accuracy for biotechnology products
- Participate in regular inventories and stocktaking procedures
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal guidelines
- Maintain inventory systems meeting quality and regulatory standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as central interface between employees, logistics management, and departments
- Collaborate with adjacent departments including Finance, Sales, and Support
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders ensuring integrated logistics operations
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and legal requirements
Safety & Compliance Management
- Ensure occupational safety standards and workplace safety regulations compliance
- Implement safety protocols for handling biotechnology and diagnostic products
- Maintain FDA-registered facility standards and ISO certification requirements
- Monitor adherence to legal requirements and company policies
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse management, or comparable qualification
- Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred
Experience Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in warehouse or logistics environment (Minimum requirement)
- Initial leadership experience or demonstrated willingness to take on responsibility
- Experience with warehouse operations, inventory control, and team coordination
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of warehouse management systems (SAP experience required)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting and documentation
- Valid forklift license (Gabelstaplerführerschein) mandatory
