Position Overview
Working under the Logistics Supervisor, you will give technical advice to warehouse staff and handle the receipt, issue, storage and accountability of specialized electronic equipment, following Department of the Army and 2nd Theater Signal Brigade guidelines. You will also review catalog data, plan storage layouts and keep every record accurate. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inventory, store, pull and issue material when requested.
- Advise customers on issue, turn-in and pick up of materiel.
- Review warehouse storage daily, re-organize stock and update the Stock Control Analyst.
- Support location surveys, pre-inventories and inventory discrepancy research, including the Inventory Adjustment Report and DD Form 4949.
- Record serial numbers and verify Materiel Release Orders for accuracy.
- File supply documents according to AR 25-400-2.
- Arrange disposal of excess equipment through the local Defense Logistics Agency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school graduate with two years of warehouse operations experience.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge or certification in IGC, LIW, WEBSDR and AESIP.
- Able to drive a forklift up to 6,000 pounds, use a pallet jack and lift 20 to 50 pounds.
