Position Overview
As Microbiologist Specialist, you will perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, water, and environmental samples. You’ll conduct routine tests such as sterility, endotoxin, microbial limit, bioburden, and antimicrobial effectiveness testing, prepare and maintain microbial cultures, media, and reagents, operate and calibrate laboratory equipment, and record and report test results accurately while following GLP, GMP, and company quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Microbiological Testing
- Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
- Test water and environmental samples for microbial contamination

Laboratory Operations & Equipment
- Prepare and maintain microbial cultures, media, and reagents
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain microbiology laboratory equipment
- Maintain autoclaves, incubators, and laminar flow hoods in proper working condition
Documentation & Compliance
- Record and report test results accurately
- Follow GLP, GMP, and company quality procedures at all times
- Maintain thorough laboratory documentation supporting audit readiness
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or laboratory environment is an advantage
- Good understanding of MLT, sterility, and BET testing, along with related laboratory instruments
