Position Overview
This Overseas Logistic Coordinator role manages international export and import operations for RIMOWA in Cologne. You will plan and monitor global goods flows from order intake to delivery, prepare shipping documents, liaise with forwarders and customs authorities, and proactively troubleshoot supply chain disruptions to keep shipments on track.

Key Responsibilities
International Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate and execute international logistics processes per customs and trade regulations
- Plan and monitor global goods flow from order intake to final delivery or hub
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and review shipping documents (waybills, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates of origin)
- Ensure compliance with international customs and trade regulations
- Handle complaints and damage claims related to transport
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate with freight forwarders, external warehouses, and customs authorities
- Proactively monitor shipments and troubleshoot supply chain disruptions
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and support new logistics projects
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Completed training in international logistics, Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable qualification
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in export/import, ideally with an internationally operating company
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of customs/trade regulations and air & sea freight logistics
- Confident MS Office user with quick adaptability to new systems
- Fluent German and English, written and spoken
