Position Overview
This Supply Chain Specialist role at Vantage Towers Düsseldorf is a key operational and technical position within the telecom infrastructure supply chain. You will review and approve partner offers, delivery notes, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for masts, antenna mounts, and power supply projects. You will validate BOM consistency with technical drawings and product specifications, reconcile data with SAP ERP, and actively support the optimisation and standardisation of material structures for cost efficiency across Vantage Towers’ European infrastructure network.

Key Responsibilities
Partner Offer & Delivery Note Review
- Review offers from partners for initial installation and active construction build-out of telecom infrastructure
- Review and approve delivery notes from partners, clarifying any discrepancies promptly and professionally
- Ensure all incoming documentation aligns with project specifications, contracts, and company standards
- Coordinate with partners to resolve material or documentation inconsistencies ahead of project milestones
Bill of Materials Validation
- Review and validate Bills of Materials for telecom infrastructure projects including masts, antenna mounts, and power supply systems
- Ensure full consistency of BOMs with technical drawings, product data sheets, and project specifications
- Reconcile BOM data with records held in the company ERP and documentation system (SAP)
- Identify BOM discrepancies early and drive corrective actions with internal teams and external partners
Material Structure Optimisation
- Support the optimisation of material structures (Scope of Work) for standardisation and cost efficiency
- Analyse material flows and identify opportunities to reduce complexity and improve procurement efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain processes across Vantage Towers’ infrastructure projects
- Work closely with technical and procurement teams to align material standards with operational requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience & Technical Knowledge
- Several years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry in a supply chain or technical role
- Technical understanding of construction plans and static calculations for telecommunications infrastructure systems
- Familiarity with technical standards and current legal frameworks applicable to the German and European telecom sector
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, Bills of Materials, and material flow management
- Hands-on experience with ERP and PLM systems — SAP experience is ideally required for this position
Language & Soft Skills
- Fluent written and spoken German is a firm requirement for this position
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset for validating complex technical and procurement documents
- Collaborative, open communicator comfortable working in a multicultural international team environment
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple workstreams and partner relationships simultaneously
