You will support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of KITCO’s integrated QHSE management systems — performing pre-start, in-process, and post-production line inspections, conducting product and raw material testing, ensuring real-time SOP/GMP/HACCP compliance documentation, supporting audit activities, investigating incidents, tracking environmental parameters, and preparing detailed QHSE KPI reports. The role requires a detail-oriented, analytically capable food industry professional who maintains zero documentation backlog, responds rapidly to out-of-spec results, and actively contributes to the continuous improvement of KITCO’s quality and safety culture across the Sharjah manufacturing operation.
Why This Role Matters: As QHSE Analyst at KITCO Sharjah — a 50-year-old FMCG icon under Mezzan Holding with 8,500+ employees and 130,000 sqm of manufacturing across the GCC — you will protect the food safety and quality standards that millions of consumers across the Middle East trust every day, apply your HACCP, GMP, and ISO expertise in a dynamic, high-volume snacks manufacturing environment, contribute to a QHSE culture that directly supports KITCO’s premium brand reputation across the GCC, and build a specialised food safety and quality career with one of the region’s most respected and long-established FMCG manufacturing organisations.
Core Responsibilities
Quality Control Inspections & Product Testing
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled line inspections at all production stages — pre-start checks, in-process monitoring, and post-production assessments — ensuring all product parameters meet KITCO’s defined quality specifications at every point in the manufacturing cycle
- Conduct product testing across the full material lifecycle — raw material intake testing, in-process quality checks, and finished goods testing — maintaining zero missed tests and ensuring all product release decisions are fully supported by documented QC data
- Respond quickly and decisively to out-of-specification results — escalating immediately to the appropriate production and quality stakeholders, initiating hold procedures, and coordinating corrective actions to prevent non-conforming product from progressing through the manufacturing process
- Maintain full traceability of all quality testing data — ensuring every raw material, production batch, and finished goods test result is documented in real time with complete traceability records that support product recall readiness and regulatory compliance
GMP, HACCP & Food Safety Compliance Monitoring
- Monitor and verify compliance with KITCO’s SOPs, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) plans across all food manufacturing operations at the Sharjah facility
- Conduct critical control point (CCP) monitoring activities and prerequisite programme (PRP) verification checks — recording all monitoring data in real time and escalating any deviations from critical limits immediately to the QHSE team
- Identify and report GMP and food safety non-conformances during manufacturing operations — documenting deviations accurately, raising non-conformance reports, and supporting root cause analysis and corrective action development
- Support the maintenance of KITCO’s food safety management system certification — ensuring all HACCP documentation, food safety records, and monitoring logs are current, accurate, and audit-ready at all times
CAPA Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Record all test results, quality deviations, safety incidents, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) activities in real time — maintaining accurate, complete, and zero-backlog QHSE documentation that meets KITCO’s internal standards and external regulatory requirements
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis processes — contributing analytical capability, production floor knowledge, and testing data to identify underlying causes of quality failures and safety incidents
- Implement and follow up approved CAPA measures — verifying that corrective actions are completed within agreed timeframes and confirming through evidence-based assessment that preventive measures are effective in eliminating recurrence
- Participate actively in the continuous improvement of KITCO’s QHSE systems — identifying process gaps, proposing practical improvements, and supporting the implementation of initiatives that enhance food safety performance, quality consistency, and workplace safety standards
Health, Safety & Environmental Monitoring
- Conduct workplace safety assessments, safety inspections, and hazard identification activities across the Sharjah manufacturing facility — identifying workplace safety risks and ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly and effectively
- Support emergency response drills, safety awareness campaigns, and toolbox talks — building a proactive, safety-conscious culture where all manufacturing employees understand and actively practise KITCO’s workplace safety standards
- Track and record environmental performance parameters — including waste generation, water usage, energy consumption, and sustainability metrics — supporting KITCO’s environmental management commitments and reporting requirements
- Maintain accurate health, safety, and environmental records — ensuring all incident reports, safety inspection records, environmental monitoring logs, and corrective action documentation are complete, current, and accessible for internal and external review
Audits, Reporting & KPI Management
- Conduct internal QHSE audits and production floor assessments — evaluating compliance with SOPs, GMP, HACCP, and applicable food safety and environmental standards across the Sharjah manufacturing site
- Prepare accurate, timely shift quality reports and monthly QHSE KPI reports — ensuring management has full, real-time visibility of quality performance, safety statistics, environmental metrics, and compliance status
- Update QHSE KPI dashboards regularly — maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of all performance data displays to support management review, audit readiness, and continuous improvement decision-making
- Ensure full traceability of all quality and safety data — maintaining organised, audit-ready records that demonstrate KITCO’s compliance with applicable food safety, GMP, and occupational health and safety standards at all times
