Key Responsibilities
Cupping & Sensory Evaluation
- Conduct cupping sessions to assess coffee quality and consistency
- Apply sensory evaluation techniques to identify flavor profiles and defects
- Maintain quality benchmarks across different coffee origins and roasts
- Document cupping results to inform sourcing and roasting decisions
Espresso Calibration & Barista Training
- Perform espresso calibration to ensure consistent extraction standards
- Train baristas on brewing techniques and quality expectations
- Monitor equipment performance to maintain coffee quality standards
- Support ongoing skill development across barista teams
Quality Audits & Food Safety
- Conduct quality audits across coffee production and service operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards throughout the supply chain
- Identify and address quality gaps before they impact the final product
- Maintain thorough documentation for quality assurance purposes
Cross-Location Quality Support
- Travel across locations using a valid UAE driving licence to support quality checks

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Hospitality, or a related field
Experience Requirements

Certification & Licensing
- SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certification is an advantage
