The Quality Specialist at Barns, Dammam is the on-ground quality authority across corporate and franchisee branch operations. You will ensure that all branches implement and sustain Barns’ Quality Management System, conduct structured audits covering food safety, hygiene, and operational standards, lead CAPA closure within defined timelines, train and coach branch teams on identified quality gaps, and support supplier qualification processes. Key Responsibilities
The Quality Specialist at Barns Dammam owns a broad and impactful set of responsibilities across franchisee and corporate quality operations:
- Ensure implementation and compliance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all franchisee and corporate Barns branches throughout the network
- Train and coach branch teams on identified quality gaps, food safety compliance requirements, hygiene standards, and Barns corporate operational quality standards
- Conduct comprehensive branch audits covering food safety, hygiene practices, and operational quality standards — with full documentation of findings and follow-up actions
- Monitor and drive KPI achievement through structured, consistent follow-up with both franchisee and corporate branch teams across the Dammam region
- Lead and actively track CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) closure processes within clearly defined timelines to ensure issues are resolved permanently
- Perform warehouse audits to verify full compliance in product storage, food handling practices, and distribution procedures at all relevant facilities
- Support supplier qualification and evaluation processes — particularly for local vendors supplying ingredients, packaging, and materials to Barns branches
- Ensure full compliance with all local Saudi regulatory requirements and applicable food safety standards across all branch and warehouse operations
- Maintain proper, organized documentation and audit records for all quality activities — ensuring records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready at all times

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a closely related field — a strong scientific foundation in food quality and safety is essential
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems Management within the QSR sector or food manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated experience in quality compliance management, branch or facility auditing, and food safety systems implementation
- Exposure to franchise operations or QSR brand standards is strongly preferred — candidates with multi-branch quality management experience will be prioritized
