Almarai, the world’s largest vertically integrated dairy company and MENA’s leading FMCG brand, is seeking a Quality Specialist in Riyadh to work with the Quality Systems Manager planning and coordinating implementation of quality and food safety management systems across dairy, bakery, and food manufacturing operations.

The Role / Opportunity
The Quality Specialist will work closely with the Quality Systems Manager to be part of planning and coordinating the implementation of quality and food safety management systems within Almarai by working in line with superiors to rate the effectiveness of quality programs across food manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of quality management systems (QMS) and food safety management systems (FSMS)
- Assist in planning and coordinating quality programs across dairy, bakery, beverages, and food production
- Work with Quality Systems Manager to evaluate effectiveness of quality initiatives
- Monitor compliance with food safety standards including HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and GMP
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and assessments across production facilities
- Review and analyze quality data, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Support continuous improvement projects and corrective action processes
- Prepare quality reports, documentation, and presentations for management
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams on quality matters
- Participate in food safety training programs and quality awareness initiatives
- Assist in preparation for internal and external quality audits
Required Qualifications
The candidate must meet the following criteria to be shortlisted:
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food-related discipline including Dairy Technology, Bakery Science, Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field
Professional Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar quality role within the food industry environment in a reputed company
- Hands-on experience with food safety management systems and quality control processes
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and verbal communication)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GMP, and food safety regulations
- Experience in dairy, bakery, or beverage manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with quality auditing and inspection procedures
- Understanding of statistical quality control and data analysis
- Professional certifications in quality management or food safety
