Position Overview
This Receiving Officer role at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara supports the resort’s purchasing and supply operations, ensuring all incoming goods, food, beverage, and operational supplies are received, checked, and recorded accurately. Key Responsibilities
Goods Receiving & Inspection
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Check the quality, quantity, and condition of received goods before acceptance
- Flag and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the relevant department
- Ensure perishable and food and beverage items meet the resort’s quality and hygiene standards
Inventory & Documentation
- Maintain accurate receiving records and update inventory systems
- Support stock control processes across store and operational departments
- Coordinate with purchasing and finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing
- Organize storage of received goods according to resort standards
Vendor & Team Coordination
- Liaise professionally with suppliers and delivery personnel
- Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments on delivery schedules
- Support smooth day-to-day operations of the resort’s supply chain function
- Uphold Anantara’s standards of authentic, heartfelt hospitality in every interaction
