Position Overview
As a Ruwad trainee in Engineering & Asset Management, you will gain hands-on training in equipment maintenance across quay cranes and yard equipment, reliability engineering analyzing breakdowns and root causes, preventive maintenance planning, projects and infrastructure support, automation and control systems, asset integrity and HSE, CMMS and technical systems, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, HSE, and Procurement.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering — Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Mechatronics
Essential Skills
- Comfortable working on-site in a field role, including safety boots, heat, and shift patterns
- Analytical mindset, wanting to understand why something failed
- Strong communication skills, fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
