Position Overview – Sales Executive
As a Sales Executive at REDA Lab, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by promoting and selling our comprehensive portfolio of high-quality laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, and consumables across the UAE and wider GCC region. This role goes beyond traditional sales—you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with diverse clients to understand their operational requirements and recommend tailored scientific solutions.
You will serve an extensive client base including educational institutions, universities, government entities, research laboratories, and industrial facilities across key sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Food & Beverage, Environmental Testing, and Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities & Core Functions
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales of laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, testing equipment, and consumables across UAE and wider GCC, targeting educational institutions, government laboratories, industrial facilities, and private research labs
- Build and sustain long-term customer relationships through consistent engagement, technical understanding, value-driven solutions, and exceptional customer service
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by proactively exploring prospects within scientific, industrial, food safety, environmental testing, and petrochemical sectors
- Utilize market insights and competitive intelligence to strengthen REDA Lab’s market presence and expand customer base across multiple territories
Account Management & Project Coordination:
- Manage comprehensive portfolio of customer accounts and ongoing sales projects with efficiency, ensuring timely follow-up on leads, proposals, quotations, and customer inquiries
- Provide tailored product recommendations and localized technical support, positioning REDA Lab as trusted partner in laboratory and testing solutions
- Deliver professional product presentations, technical demonstrations, and customer training sessions when required to showcase equipment capabilities
- Collaborate closely with international suppliers, technical teams, and application engineers to develop customized solutions meeting specific client needs
Technical Advisory & Solutions:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to identify new product opportunities and support strategic planning
- Prepare accurate quotations, commercial proposals, technical offers, and tender submissions ensuring competitive pricing and comprehensive specifications
- Ensure effective follow-up on all proposals and quotations to successfully close deals and achieve sales targets
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction
Reporting & Performance Management:
- Maintain updated sales records, accurate forecasts, customer databases, and CRM data to support reporting and strategic decision-making
- Provide regular feedback to management on market conditions, customer requirements, competitive landscape, and overall sales performance
- Uphold REDA Lab’s reputation by ensuring high standards of customer service, professionalism, technical competence, and responsiveness at every stage of sales cycle
Required Qualifications & Educational Background
- Academic Credentials (Mandatory): Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any closely related scientific discipline from accredited university
- Technical Sales Experience (Essential): 2-4 years of proven professional experience selling laboratory equipment, analytical equipment, water testing equipment, environmental monitoring equipment, material testing equipment, and technical solutions within UAE market
- Technical Background (Required): Strong technical knowledge in microbiology, spectrophotometry, PCR/qPCR technologies, food safety testing kits, water analysis methods, and analytical instruments
- Industry Experience (Advantage): Experience working with food laboratories, environmental testing labs, QC/QA facilities, industrial laboratories, research institutions, and government sectors is strong advantage
Essential Skills & Professional Competencies
- Communication Excellence: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with ability to engage professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Organization & Self-Motivation: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple customer accounts and sales projects simultaneously
- English Proficiency (Mandatory): Exceptional command of English language (spoken and written) for professional communication, technical documentation, and client interactions
- Driving License (Required): Valid UAE driving license is mandatory for field sales, client visits, and territory coverage
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively and cover all regions of UAE including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and Northern Emirates, with occasional travel across GCC region if required
Additional Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Tender & Government Knowledge: Working knowledge of tender processes, government procurement portals, e-tendering systems, and public sector sales procedures
- Arabic Language (Significant Advantage): Arabic language proficiency is significant advantage due to customer-facing nature of role and dealing with government entities and Arabic-speaking clients
- CRM & Software: Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems, sales tracking software, and Microsoft Office suite
- Technical Certifications: Product-specific certifications or technical training in laboratory instrumentation
