Position Overview
This Security Systems Specialist position at ADIB provides end-to-end technical responsibility for the delivery, maintenance, performance management, and continuous improvement of physical security systems across the bank’s complete UAE facility portfolio. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Security Systems Operations & Project Delivery
- Manage physical security system projects — including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and VMS — across ADIB branches, HQ, and UAE-wide facilities from concept and design through execution and completion
- Conduct site surveys, progress inspections, and technical assessments at project locations across all UAE regions to validate scope, design accuracy, and implementation readiness
- Attend and coordinate on-site meetings with contractors, consultants, and vendors — ensuring consistent alignment with approved security scope, ADIB standards, and delivery timelines
- Liaise closely with internal projects, facilities, IT, and security teams to coordinate all security-related project activities and resolve technical issues efficiently and promptly
- Provide on-site and remote technical support during project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning phases across all ADIB locations throughout the UAE
Security Systems Design & Technical Review
- Review, revise, and validate security system layout drawings, schematic designs, and network architecture in full compliance with ADIB security standards and design guidelines
- Verify technical designs, engineering plans, and material quantities for accuracy, system compatibility, and suitability for actual site conditions across all project locations
- Ensure all materials, devices, cabling installations, and system configurations comply with approved ADIB technical specifications and UAE authority requirements throughout project delivery
Authority & Regulatory Compliance — ADMCC / SIRA / Police
- Review and validate technical submittals to ensure full compliance with ADMCC (Abu Dhabi Municipality and City of Abu Dhabi) and SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency, Dubai) authority requirements
- Prepare, coordinate, and secure Police and CID approvals for all new security system installations, branch renovations, and system upgrade projects across ADIB’s UAE facility network
- Ensure all authority approvals and compliance documentation are fully secured and verified prior to system commissioning and operational handover at each project site
Maintenance, Performance Management & System Monitoring
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and service providers to ensure continuous availability, operational stability, and reliability of all CCTV, Access Control, VMS, and Alarm systems across ADIB
- Monitor system health indicators continuously — including camera uptime, storage utilization, network performance, device failure rates, and alarm responsiveness across all monitored sites
- Review monthly corrective and preventive maintenance reports, identify recurring technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure all issues are escalated and closed within agreed SLA timelines
- Verify execution of quarterly preventive maintenance activities in line with manufacturer recommendations, contract terms, and ADIB security standards for all systems and locations
Analytics, KPI Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze security system performance using VMS monitoring tools, system diagnostics platforms, and analytics dashboards — tracking CCTV, alarm, and access control system health across all ADIB sites
- Track and report technical KPIs and KRIs including system downtime, repeat failures, false alarm rates, and SLA compliance — preparing structured reports with optimization recommendations for management
- Identify opportunities for system optimization, technology standardization, and architecture upgrades — recommending improvements to storage efficiency, redundancy, resilience, and advanced analytics utilization
- Support implementation of new security technologies, enterprise platform integrations, and cybersecurity alignment initiatives — contributing to ADIB’s ongoing security infrastructure modernization program
- Maintain as-built drawings, system inventories, configuration records, and all technical documentation to ensure complete, audit-ready security system records at all times

Eligibility Requirements
- UAE National (Emirati) — this is a dedicated Emiratization position and is open exclusively to UAE National candidates
- Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field — mandatory educational requirement
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar security systems specialist, security engineer, or physical security technology role
- Proven hands-on experience with CCTV, VMS, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems in a multi-site or enterprise security environment
- Prior experience supporting security system projects including site surveys, contractor coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning across multiple UAE locations
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of CCTV, Video Management Systems (VMS), Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems — including IP-based platforms, configuration, and system health monitoring
- Ability to review technical drawings, security system layouts, and submittals in line with ADIB standards and UAE authority requirements including ADMCC and SIRA regulations
- Experience supporting tenders, RFPs, BOQs, maintenance scopes, and technical vendor evaluations for physical security system contracts
