Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Quality System Implementation & Compliance
- Support the QA Manager in ensuring all quality procedures are implemented, maintained, and compliant with Alghanim F&B brand standards and international food safety requirements
- Conduct quality monitoring on products continuously, maintaining accurate records and initiating timely corrective actions when deviations are identified
- Ensure all QA records are well organized, up to date, and readily available for internal and external audits at all times
- Follow up diligently with the operations team on raised non-conformances and ensure all corrective actions are closed effectively
Store & Supplier Auditing
- Conduct comprehensive audits of Alghanim F&B stores across different GCC markets using the Alghanim Food Safety Checklist and established auditing plans
- Audit Alghanim F&B suppliers across multiple markets in alignment with the yearly auditing calendar
- Analyze audit results and initiate corrective and preventive actions in coordination with operations and supplier teams
- Coordinate with certified laboratories on required product and environmental analyses based on the defined testing plan
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and send weekly and monthly quality department reports to the operations team and operational leaders
- Communicate quality findings clearly and professionally to all relevant internal stakeholders and department heads
- Support the operations team with quality assurance requirements and deliver training on new QA standards
- Handle any additional tasks required to support the QA department in achieving overall company quality goals
Training & Continuous Improvement
- Work side by side with the training department to establish a comprehensive quality assurance training plan for all F&B staff
- Ensure the QA training plan is fully implemented across all store and operations teams in applicable markets
- Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement through proactive identification of risk areas and best practice sharing
- Support cross-functional teams in building food safety awareness and operational compliance at every level
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or any equivalent scientific discipline
- Additional certifications in food safety such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000 are a strong advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance within food and beverage or FMCG environments
- Prior experience in food safety auditing, supplier management, or laboratory coordination is highly preferred
- Familiarity with GCC food safety regulations and international quality management standards is a major asset
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English — written and verbal — essential for reporting and cross-team collaboration
- Very good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation tasks
