Position Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst (f/m/d) at Lampenwelt in Fulda is a data-driven, analytically focused role at the heart of the company’s logistics and supply chain operations. You will analyse goods flows across the entire value chain, identify efficiency and optimisation opportunities, manage inventory planning and replenishment processes, track KPIs and forecast trends, and lead cross-functional supply chain projects. Working closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Product Management, and international stakeholders, you will build dashboards, develop decision-making tools, and accompany the full product lifecycle — from launch through optimisation to phase-out — from a dedicated supply chain perspective.

Why This Role Matters: As Supply Chain Analyst at Lampenwelt, you are the analytical engine that keeps 50,000+ lighting products flowing efficiently from suppliers to customers across international markets. You will build KPI dashboards and forecast models that drive real purchasing and inventory decisions, lead and contribute to logistics and supply chain improvement projects with cross-functional impact, identify supply risks early through data-driven monitoring before they affect product availability, and build a meaningful career in one of Germany’s most innovative and stable e-commerce scale-up companies — with hybrid flexibility from Fulda or home.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Performance Analysis & Optimisation

  • Analyse and actively manage supply chain performance along the entire value chain from supplier through to customer delivery
  • Identify concrete optimisation potentials within goods flows, replenishment processes, and inventory management systems
  • Derive and implement actionable improvement measures based on data findings, KPI tracking, and root cause analysis
  • Monitor early warning signals for supply risks, demand shifts, and trend changes through structured forecast and KPI analysis

Inventory Planning & Replenishment Management

  • Plan and continuously monitor inventory levels using data-driven disposition methods to ensure full product availability at all times
  • Manage and optimise replenishment processes and warehouse movements to support lean, cost-efficient inventory management
  • Develop and maintain reliable demand forecasts that align purchasing decisions with actual market demand signals
  • Support the full product lifecycle from a supply chain perspective — including launch, ongoing optimisation, and structured phase-out

Cross-Functional Project Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and actively contribute to cross-departmental logistics and supply chain improvement projects with measurable business impact
  • Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Product Management, and international stakeholders to align on supply chain goals
  • Drive projects independently with strong ownership and the ability to bring cross-functional teams along on complex change initiatives
  • Communicate supply chain insights, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders across the organisation in a structured way

Reporting, Dashboards & Decision Support

  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve supply chain reports, KPI dashboards, and management-ready decision-making foundations
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that support fast and well-informed operational and strategic decisions
  • Develop Excel-based and system-driven analytical tools that improve daily supply chain monitoring and efficiency across the team
  • Ensure data quality and reporting consistency to support internal audits, management reviews, and cross-functional planning cycles

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Management — ideally in an analytical or project-focused role such as supply planning, demand planning, or logistics project management
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex data sets and translate analytical findings into concrete supply chain improvements
  • Project management experience with the ability to drive topics forward independently in a cross-functional international environment

Technical Skills

  • Very strong Excel skills — advanced data analysis, modelling, and reporting capability essential for this role
  • Strong affinity for data and numbers with genuine enjoyment of analysing complex relationships and identifying patterns
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems used in supply chain and logistics environments is an advantage
  • Ability to build clear, structured reports and dashboards that support both operational and strategic decision-making
