Position Overview
As Supply Chain Manager, you will take holistic ownership of the supply chain, ensuring efficient, customer-oriented, and economical processing of all relevant activities along the value chain. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end supply chain steering from demand planning through delivery, lead and develop your team, optimize warehousing, fulfillment, transport, and customer service, and manage logistics service providers and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Supply Chain Steering
- Own the end-to-end steering of the supply chain from demand planning to delivery
- Ensure high product availability while balancing service-level, cost, and inventory targets
- Ensure inventory accuracy, traceability, and process quality
Team Leadership & Operations Management
- Lead, develop, and grow the supply chain team
- Steer and optimize warehousing, fulfillment, transport, and customer service functions
- Manage and develop logistics service providers and external partners
Budget, Performance & Reporting
- Own budget planning, cost control, and continuous supply chain performance improvement
- Introduce and develop KPI and reporting structures for data-driven organizational steering
- Track and report on supply chain performance across the value chain
Transformation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead optimization, digitalization, and transformation projects across the supply chain
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and external partners
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
Experience Requirements
- Multiple years of leadership experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations function
- Experience in a dynamic consumer goods, retail, or production-adjacent environment
- Proven track record implementing process improvements or operational excellence initiatives
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, warehousing, and transport
- Experience steering logistics service providers
- Strong analytical skills and experience with KPI-based organizational management
- High initiative, hands-on mentality, and strong results orientation
- Experience with ERP systems and modern planning/reporting tools
- Strong communication skills with excellent stakeholder management
- Fluent German and English language skills
