Position Overview
As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will manage the interface with supply planning within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, oversee material planning for raw materials and packaging, and coordinate shipment of finished products with freight forwarders (FCA). You’ll organize compliant sample shipments, handle customs clearance for the Wurzen site, and create reports and analyses that manage relevant supply chain KPIs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
IBP & Material Planning
- Coordinate monthly forecasting activities with Production and Supply Planner EMEIA
- Manage material requirements planning for raw materials and packaging
- Serve as the interface with supply planning within the IBP process
- Ensure structured and informative reporting across planning functions
Order Processing & Shipment Coordination
- Ensure efficient order processing from order receipt through delivery to the customer
- Handle and coordinate transports in cooperation with logistics sourcing and freight forwarders
- Coordinate delivery dates with freight forwarders (FCA)
- Monitor production deadlines and coordinate appointments with customer service
Customs, Compliance & Documentation
- Organize sample shipments in full compliance with applicable regulations
- Prepare shipping and export documents and process export customs declarations
- Ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations at the Wurzen site
- Apply customs expertise in import/export processing and preferential law
Reporting & Cross-Team Coordination
- Create reports and analyses to control processes based on supply chain KPIs
- Ensure coordination with production and quality management teams
- Support organizational goals through entrepreneurial thinking and initiative
- Interact effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational & Training Requirements
- Completed commercial training, for example, as a freight forwarding clerk
Experience Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in planning/control, supply chain, or materials management
- Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including IBP processes and order/shipping processing
Essential Skills
- Good English language skills
- Proficient use of SAP systems (Atlas ECC, BW), EPI, and MS Office applications
- Customs expertise in import and export processing and preferential law
- Effective communication and interaction with people at different levels
