Position Overview
As Logistics Officer, you will plan, execute, and control the efficient flow of goods, services, and related information, ensuring that necessary resources — equipment and materials — are in the right place, at the right time, and in the right condition. You’ll secure project hardware inventory and tracking, maintain material and equipment data in GLPI including export control, prepare shipping documentation, and perform shipping acceptance and inspection for incoming and outgoing goods.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Material Data Management
- Secure project hardware inventory and tracking
- Maintain material and equipment data in GLPI, including export control
- Ensure resources are available in the right place, time, and condition
Shipping, Export & Customs Compliance
- Prepare necessary shipping documentation for all shipments
- Clear export control related aspects for incoming and outgoing goods
- Clear customs related aspects and maintain relevant material data in GLPI
Inspection & Quality Control
- Perform shipping acceptance and inspection for all incoming and outgoing goods
- Conduct incoming inspection to verify goods meet required standards
- Conduct outgoing inspection prior to shipment release
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in supply chain and logistics highly appreciated
- Experience with data analytics for inventory optimization
- Mastery of typical supply chain software tools
Essential Skills
- Structured mindset and strong organizational skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly under pressure
- Strong interpersonal communication and adaptability to overcome disruptions
- Very good command of German and English, written and spoken — German proficiency mandatory
- Ability to obtain security clearances (German national)
