The Supply Chain Process & Planning Specialist in Vlotho is responsible for ensuring and continuously developing standardised supply chain processes and unified planning methodologies across all departments. The role covers end-to-end production scheduling, capacity and demand coordination, bottleneck resource management, warehouse layout optimisation, KPI reporting, ERP master data integrity, and strategic logistics project management — all in close collaboration with specialist departments in a stable, values-driven manufacturing environment in North Rhine-Westphalia.

- Ensure and continuously develop standardised supply chain processes and unified planning methodologies across all departments
- Analyse supply chain weaknesses and drive systematic, continuous improvement of supply chain and logistics processes
- Optimise warehouse layouts, material flow, and packaging concepts to support operational efficiency and cost reduction
- Establish ERP master data quality standards and develop consistent processes in coordination with all relevant departments
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Execute, control, and continuously adapt production planning including scheduling and prioritisation of manufacturing orders
- Coordinate and manage capacities and material requirements across production, warehouse, and machine resources
- Further develop forecasting and capacity management processes for both machine and warehouse operations
- Actively manage and optimise bottleneck resources within the supply chain to prevent production disruption
KPI Reporting & Data-Driven Management
- Create, analyze, and report supply chain performance KPIs and operational metrics for management visibility
- Control and steer supply chain performance indicators to ensure targets are consistently tracked and met
- Ensure data-driven supply chain management by deriving and implementing measures for inventory, capacity, and process optimisation
- Maintain the quality, consistency, and continuous development of all relevant master data in the ERP system
Project Management & Strategic Logistics
- Execute, control, and manage supply chain and logistics improvement projects from initiation through to completion
- Implement strategic logistics objectives in close coordination with relevant business units and senior stakeholders
- Lead process improvement initiatives that reduce waste, increase throughput, and strengthen supply chain resilience
- Proactively identify new opportunities for efficiency gains across planning, logistics, and production workflows
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Technical or business management degree — engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics operations, or production planning roles
- Very strong ERP system knowledge — hands-on proficiency in planning, scheduling, and master data management modules
- Demonstrated experience in process management, KPI steering, and operational performance reporting
