Position Overview
As Supply Chain Specialist, you will independently plan and control weekly purchasing, sales, and production volumes for air separation plants. You’ll evaluate new sources of supply nationally and across Europe, obtain offers, compare international conditions, and negotiate contracts. You’ll also manage operational procurement at the country level, create analyses of quantity and price trends, and serve as the central contact coordinating suppliers, logistics, sales, and plant management.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Supplier Management
- Independently plan and control weekly purchasing, sales, and production volumes for air separation plants
- Evaluate new sources of supply nationally and across Europe
- Obtain offers, compare international conditions, and conduct contract negotiations with partners
Operational Procurement & Logistics
- Manage operational procurement at the country level, from ordering to invoice verification
- Monitor delivery processes and handle complaints
- Ensure smooth procurement processing accounting for country-specific requirements
Analyses, Calculations & Interface Coordination
- Create evaluations of quantity and price trends and demand analyses
- Support internal clients with calculations for customer tenders
- Serve as the central contact coordinating suppliers, logistics, sales, and plant management
- Manage tasks related to procurement and logistics of cryogenic, liquefied gases
Plant Utilization
- Contribute to efficient plant utilization through proactive planning
- Actively shape collaboration with internal and external partners
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training in purchasing or supply chain management
System Skills
- Proficient use of MS Office and SAP
- Experience with Power BI and scheduling software is an advantage
