Position Overview
This VP Data Engineering role drives the design and delivery of a next-generation enterprise data platform, builds cloud-native data solutions leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure, and develops scalable data products that power investment, analytics, reporting, and AI use cases. You will lead the integration and management of complex market, portfolio, and third-party datasets, champion best practices across data quality, governance, observability, and platform performance, and partner with Data Science, Analytics, and business teams to enable AI-ready data capabilities across the organisation.

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline
Experience Requirements
- 7+ years of work experience with Snowflake
- 7+ years of work experience with Microsoft Azure
- 7+ years of work experience with Azure Databricks
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade cloud-native data platforms at scale
- Experience in investment, finance, or data-intensive industries is a strong advantage
