The Process Engineer at Ecolab Abu Dhabi is responsible for applying core engineering skills to plan and execute projects that drive improvements across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will support feasibility studies, manage project timelines, ensure compliance with local and corporate standards, and contribute to the development and integration of manufacturing processes for new and revised products. Key Responsibilities
Engineering Project Execution
- Apply engineering skills and experience to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
- Plan and execute engineering projects while meeting cost and schedule objectives
- Develop engineering criteria and drive smaller projects from approval through execution to achieve recognized objectives
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones meeting company quality standards
Operations & Safety Support
- Support efforts to identify areas within operations where safety, quality, delivery, and cost can be improved
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all projects conform to local, regional, national, and corporate safety and environmental standards
- Contribute to building and maintaining a culture of safety across all engineering activities
Feasibility Studies & Planning
- Support feasibility studies and determine accurate manpower and cost estimates for new projects
- Evaluate operational processes and recommend improvements aligned with business goals
- Coordinate with management on resource allocation and project timelines
Manufacturing Process Development
- Support technical efforts to develop and integrate manufacturing processes for new and significantly revised products
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to world-class manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in a chemical, food, or related manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a chemical, food, or related manufacturing environment
- Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
- World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience
