  • Support proper documentation and chain-of-custody procedures for all incoming biological materials requiring regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure sample handling protocols meet both scientific and regulatory standards consistently

Logistics, Shipping & Import/Export Operations

  • Ship company products to customers globally, preparing accurate shipping and customs documentation in full compliance with applicable regulations including IATA guidelines
  • Manage relationships with logistics service providers to ensure optimal service levels and consistent cost-efficiency across all shipping activities
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all logistics activities, including shipping documentation and inspection reports, for full traceability

Inventory Control & Warehouse Safety

  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and proactively minimise discrepancies across all material categories
  • Implement and monitor warehouse safety protocols to maintain a secure, compliant, and well-organised working environment
  • Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to ensure consistency and operational excellence
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure seamless integration of inventory, procurement, and logistics data across systems

Site Coordination & Stakeholder Liaison

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the campus operator and other site-related matters as they arise at the Monheim headquarters
  • Coordinate with external service providers and campus staff to resolve facility-related issues efficiently and professionally
  • Build strong working relationships across internal teams — operations, finance, and scientific staff — to keep logistics running smoothly

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a completed vocational training as a Logistics Specialist (Logistikfachkraft) recognised by the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce)
