Position Overview
As Plant Scientist – Field Research Lead, you will lead junior scientists in collecting, analyzing, and documenting agricultural data, and design and conduct field and greenhouse research to enhance crop production and understanding. You’ll embody the company mission and values, support agricultural research projects with relevant technical skills, build relationships with research partners across agronomy, and document study results and protocols while ensuring data security.

Research Leadership & Data Management
- Lead junior scientists in collecting, analyzing, and documenting agricultural data
- Design and conduct field and greenhouse research to enhance crop production and understanding

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Master’s or higher in Horticultural Science, Agronomy, Botany, Genetics, or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
Experience Requirements
- Familiarity with agricultural practices in the Southwest US
- Knowledge of field trial methodology and data analysis
Essential Skills
- Willingness to commute to West Central / Southwest Arizona or relocate
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor tasks in high temperatures
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and in teams to meet project deadlines
