- Study the full project design for MEP works and suggest initiatives for design enhancement — identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency, buildability, and compliance with Dubai construction standards
- Review BoQ and Work Orders to verify work scope coverage and confirm that quantities are sufficient and aligned with project design and construction requirements
- Review and interpret GFC (Good for Construction) drawings accurately — applying MEP engineering expertise to identify any discrepancies, clashes, or design issues that require resolution
- Assist in the preparation of tender drawings and BoQ documents — contributing technical MEP knowledge to support accurate scope definition and competitive procurement
MEP Works Execution & Site Monitoring
- Execute and monitor all MEP works with vendors as per the construction schedule and approved GFC drawings — ensuring all activities progress on time, on specification, and within budget
- Achieve the desired project progress milestones while maintaining quality and safety standards at site throughout all phases of MEP installation and commissioning
- Monitor vendor performance on site — tracking work progress, identifying issues proactively, and driving corrective actions to maintain construction schedule adherence
- Ensure all MEP works are installed, tested, and handed over in full compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and client quality expectations
Cross-Team & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate effectively among Civil & Structural teams, finishing vendors, and other site contractors to ensure seamless MEP integration within the high rise construction programme
- Liaise with the Central Design Team to resolve design queries, implement approved design changes, and ensure site execution aligns with the latest project design intent
- Conduct vendor negotiations — applying strong negotiation skills to achieve cost-effective agreements that meet project quality, timeline, and budget requirements
- Maintain an up-to-date vendor database — building and managing supplier and subcontractor relationships that support reliable, high-quality MEP works delivery on site
Commercial, Procurement & SAP Records Management
- Assist in the certification of vendor invoices — reviewing submitted invoices against agreed scopes, completed works, and approved rates before authorisation for payment
- Maintain accurate and complete project records including BoQ progress, Work Orders, vendor correspondence, and site inspection documentation for project management review
- Apply SAP exposure to support procurement, cost tracking, and project records management activities as required by the project management team
- Produce reports and documentation that clearly communicate MEP works progress, quality compliance, and outstanding items to project management and client stakeholders

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a directly related engineering discipline
Experience Requirements
- Relevant experience in MEP works management and site coordination on residential high rise or commercial construction projects in Dubai or the UAE
- Practical experience working with BoQ, Work Orders, GFC drawings, and tender documentation in a MEP engineering or construction project environment
- SAP exposure for procurement, project management, or records management activities is required for this role
