Position Overview
As Logistics Specialist — Merchandise at MAF Lifestyle in Dubai, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational supply chain and logistics of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle — maximising process efficiency and productivity across seamless end-to-end logistics operations. Your scope includes executing all supply chain activities for the Merchandise area, managing and maintaining Request for Quotation processes, registering products with regulatory bodies, validating service provider invoices against agreed terms, submitting billing invoices in relevant systems, monitoring daily replenishments to stores, managing store returns and deliveries based on VM and Marketing requirements, and maintaining strong professional relationships with all internal and external stakeholders across MAF’s diverse, multi-brand retail portfolio in the UAE and wider region.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Supply Chain Execution
- Execute comprehensive end-to-end supply chain activities for the assigned Merchandise area within MAF Lifestyle — ensuring that all logistics flows from procurement and product registration through to store replenishment and delivery are managed efficiently and compliantly
- Monitor daily replenishments to stores, launch deliveries, store returns, and orders and deliveries of Merchandise and non-Merchandise items — ensuring full alignment with VM (Visual Merchandising) and Marketing requirements across all MAF Lifestyle locations
- Maintain awareness of supply chain performance across the merchandise portfolio — identifying potential delays, shortfalls, or compliance issues proactively and coordinating immediate corrective action to prevent impact on store availability and customer experience
- Ensure all supply chain and logistics operations consistently meet MAF’s business objectives — prioritising time efficiency, cost efficiency, and operational reliability across a high-volume, multi-site UAE retail environment serving iconic brands daily
RFQ Management & Service Provider Invoice Validation
- Manage and maintain the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process in full accordance with MAF’s end-to-end (ETE) process and the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) approved by the compliance team — ensuring all sourcing activities are conducted transparently and compliantly
- Validate all service provider invoices accurately — verifying that charges are fully consistent with the agreed commercial terms before approving payment, protecting MAF Lifestyle from incorrect or unauthorised billing across all logistics service providers
- Submit billing invoices in relevant systems promptly and ensure that they are processed by the Financial Shared Service Centre (FSSC) on time — maintaining the integrity of MAF’s financial operations and cash management across all logistics expenditure
- Build and maintain professionally managed relationships with logistics service providers — ensuring that contractual service levels are consistently delivered and that any performance deviations are identified and addressed through structured action plans
Product Registration & Regulatory Compliance
- Register products with relevant UAE regulatory bodies as required — managing the full product registration process for merchandise items and ensuring that all regulatory certificates, approvals, and compliance documents remain current and valid throughout
- Proactively monitor certificate expiry dates and compliance status across all registered merchandise products — initiating timely renewals and updates to prevent any regulatory compliance gaps that could disrupt product availability or import activities
- Stay current with UAE regulatory requirements applicable to merchandise importation, product registration, and retail compliance — ensuring MAF Lifestyle’s merchandise logistics operations remain fully compliant with all relevant local and federal requirements
- Coordinate with internal compliance teams and external regulatory authorities on all product registration and certification matters — providing accurate documentation, responding to authority queries, and maintaining productive professional relationships with regulatory contacts
Stakeholder Service & Professional Relationship Management
- Provide exemplary customer service to all internal and external stakeholders — delivering relevant, accurate, and timely logistics information that enables sound business decisions across MAF Lifestyle’s Planning, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing teams
- Maintain strong, professional, and trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders across MAF Lifestyle and Majid Al Futtaim Holding — ensuring clear, consistent, and proactive communication on all merchandise logistics matters that affect store operations
- Engage professionally with external logistics partners, regulatory authorities, and service providers — representing MAF Lifestyle’s high professional standards in every stakeholder interaction and maintaining positive, productive working relationships throughout
- Apply effective communication skills across all stakeholder interactions — providing clear, timely, and well-structured information updates that keep all relevant parties informed and aligned on merchandise supply chain activities and performance
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field — required for this Logistics Specialist role within MAF Lifestyle’s Planning and Merchandising division in Dubai
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management or logistics — demonstrating a strong operational foundation across end-to-end logistics processes, supplier management, and multi-site delivery coordination
- Exposure to a high-volume transaction, multi-site retail organisation will be a significant advantage — candidates with UAE or GCC retail logistics experience will be given strong preference for this MAF Lifestyle role
