Key Responsibilities

- Review and maintain a thorough understanding of equipment operation methods and technical documentation — ensuring familiarity with all installed systems to enable effective maintenance, rapid fault diagnosis, and informed decision-making on repair versus replacement
- Support after-hours building maintenance needs and activities as required — providing responsive technical support outside of standard working hours when operational needs, emergencies, or scheduled after-hours maintenance windows demand it
Facility Inspections & Condition Reporting
- Perform regular facility inspections across all managed buildings and areas — systematically assessing the condition of mechanical, electrical, structural, and building services elements and identifying maintenance needs, compliance gaps, or operational risks before they escalate
- Prepare and submit clear, accurate summary reports of facility conditions — documenting inspection findings, deficiencies, recommended corrective actions, and priority rankings in a format that allows management to make timely, informed decisions about maintenance investment and scheduling
- Monitor and track building condition trends over time — maintaining accurate maintenance records and inspection logs that provide a reliable historical picture of facility performance and support evidence-based decisions about asset management and capital replacement planning
Preventive Maintenance Contract Supervision
- Monitor and supervise preventive maintenance contracts across all relevant building systems — ensuring specialist contractors and service providers deliver their contracted scope, meet quality standards, complete visits on schedule, and resolve any issues identified during maintenance activities
- Technically lead FM activities across projects — coordinating the maintenance team’s daily work programme, providing technical guidance and support, reviewing completed maintenance work for quality and compliance, and escalating complex technical issues appropriately

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
