- Build rapport with regular guests and VIPs to personalize their experiences
Operational Management & Event Execution
- Oversee setup and mise en place for restaurants, banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events
- Ensure all event requirements including table layouts, equipment, décor, and service stations are prepared to specification
- Coordinate with kitchen, stewarding, and banquet teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage service flow during peak periods and high-volume events to maintain efficiency and quality
- Handle last-minute changes, special requests, and urgent activities with speed and accuracy
- Verify that all areas including dining rooms, bars, storage, and back-of-house are clean, organized, and well-maintained
Financial & System Management
- Utilize the hotel’s point-of-sale (POS) computer system for ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks, and completing end-of-shift readings
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and payment processing according to accounting department guidelines
- Monitor and control beverage and food costs by minimizing waste and managing inventory efficiently
- Ensure accurate billing, prevent walkouts, and verify all transactions are properly recorded
- Assist with cash reconciliation and daily revenue reporting
Standards & Compliance
- Maintain adherence to hotel brand standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service protocols
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations in all F&B areas
- Verify that staff follows proper uniform, grooming, and personal presentation standards
- Monitor compliance with alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service practices
- Support internal and external audits related to food safety, service quality, and brand standards
Opening & Closing Duties
- Be punctual and greet colleagues professionally upon arrival for duties
- Report to supervisor or manager at the start of each shift for briefing and assignments
- Conduct pre-service checks to verify readiness of all service areas and equipment

- Complete closing checklists, secure cash and valuables, and handover to incoming shift
