Key Responsibilities

- Ensure full compliance with food safety standards across Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) operations at all times — identifying gaps and driving timely corrective actions
- Conduct regular, structured inspections of EKFC production and storage facilities to verify adherence to food safety protocols and hygiene requirements
- Identify food safety risks, hygiene non-conformances, and operational deviations during inspections and escalate findings appropriately with recommended corrective actions
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented following inspections, audits, and complaint investigations
Toolbox Talks & Food Safety Training
- Lead regular toolbox talks across EKFC operational teams to strengthen food safety awareness, reinforce hygiene standards, and communicate compliance requirements effectively
- Prepare toolbox talk content and training materials that are relevant, practical, and clearly communicated to operational staff at all levels

Microbiological Sampling & Internal Auditing
- Collect microbiological and food safety samples across EKFC facilities in accordance with defined sampling protocols and testing schedules
- Ensure all samples are collected, labelled, stored, and submitted to laboratories accurately and in full compliance with sample collection procedures
- Conduct thorough internal food safety audits across EKFC operations — preparing comprehensive audit files, findings, and corrective action recommendations
- Review and verify food safety management system compliance across all relevant EKFC operational areas during audit activities
Compliance Reporting & Complaint Investigation

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Food Science, Environmental Health, or a directly related discipline
Experience Requirement
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in food safety compliance, food safety auditing, or food microbiology in a food service, catering, or food manufacturing environment
- Practical experience conducting food safety inspections, internal audits, microbiological sampling, and food safety complaint investigations
