Position Overview
This Industry Operations Project Intern role sits within TikTok’s high-performing MSO organization, which partners with business leaders on strategy setting, data analytics, sales and client incentive policy-making, and driving operational effectiveness across tooling and sales processes. As an intern, you will engage in impactful short-term projects, gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced environment, and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests within digital advertising and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research and industry landscape analysis to identify growth opportunities across the METAP region
- Support the development of GTM strategies, regional playbooks, and go-to-market frameworks
- Analyze client portfolio composition, revenue mix, and account health metrics
- Build business cases and ROI models to evaluate new programs or market expansion opportunities
- Monitor competitor activity and platform developments to inform leadership recommendations
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to track regional performance
- Perform deep-dive quantitative analysis on campaign performance and sales funnel metrics
- Clean, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, Excel, or BI tools
- Translate data findings into clear narratives and visualizations for leadership reviews
Program Management & Operations Support
- Support execution of regional initiatives, vertical acceleration programs, and adoption campaigns
- Track program KPIs, milestone progress, and cross-functional dependencies
- Build project trackers, workflow templates, and standardized reporting frameworks
- Conduct post-mortem analysis on completed programs to document learnings
- Collaborate with Sales, Client Solutions, Product, and Marketing teams
Stakeholder Enablement & Communication
- Prepare strategic presentations, business reviews, and executive summaries
- Support creation of enablement materials, training content, and knowledge-sharing resources
- Synthesize field-team feedback into actionable insights for product, policy, or process improvements
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Penultimate or final year student
- Able to commit to at least a 3-month internship period
Minimum Requirements
- Strong passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing with a proactive learning mindset
- English as working language, with strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-driven, resilient, curious, and able to make judgments on complex matters
Preferred Skills
- Quantitative background in statistics, economics, business analytics, or data science
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) and Tableau or Power BI proficiency
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R is a strong plus
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and conduct hypothesis-driven analysis
- Prior internship experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or tech companies
- Familiarity with digital advertising metrics (CPM, CPA, ROAS, LTV) or willingness to learn quickly
