Position Overview
This Mechanical Site Engineer role is central to Archirodon’s Oil, Gas and Chemicals Division construction execution in Abu Dhabi. You will supervise and execute mechanical site works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules, monitor daily site activities for safety, quality, and progress, coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives, ensure HSE and Permit-to-Work compliance, manage manpower and resources, and support project handover activities through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Site Execution
- Supervise and execute mechanical site works per approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor daily site activities for safety, quality, and schedule compliance
- Ensure timely completion of assigned works and support project handover
HSE & Permit-to-Work Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements
- Participate in regular site safety inspections
- Uphold construction standards and HSE requirements throughout execution
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, client representatives, and other disciplines
- Liaise with QA/QC and client representatives on inspections and approvals
- Manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for efficient site execution
Technical Review & Reporting
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Monitor construction progress and prepare daily and weekly site reports
- Identify, report, and resolve site technical issues with Engineering and QA/QC teams
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical site execution within Oil & Gas or EPC construction
- Experience supervising Mechanical site execution and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of construction standards, HSE requirements, and PTW systems
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspections, and project documentation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Proficient in MS Office with strong communication and problem-solving skills
