Position Overview
This Production Supervisor role is responsible for supporting and controlling daily production operations while performing the full operational and technical duties required to support the Production Supervisor. The position is expected to independently manage production activities when required, ensure achievement of production targets, maintain product quality and food safety standards, control manpower and process efficiency, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues.
Why This Role Matters: As Production Supervisor you take on real operational responsibility within Americana’s Protein business unit, stepping in to independently lead production when needed, directly influence output, efficiency, and food safety compliance on the line, work hands-on with QA/QC to uphold GMP and HACCP standards, and build supervisory experience within one of the region’s leading food manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Monitoring & Target Achievement
- Monitor daily production and ensure the production plan and targets are achieved
- Support the Production Supervisor and lead the production area when needed
Manpower & Process Control
- Assign manpower according to production needs
- Monitor production output, efficiency, yield, waste, downtime, and material usage
- Monitor manpower attendance, discipline, and performance
Quality, Safety & Standards Compliance
- Ensure production follows SOPs, recipes, specifications, and work instructions
- Work with QA/QC to maintain food safety, quality, GMP, and HACCP requirements
Problem Resolution & Reporting
- Identify production problems and take necessary corrective actions
- Report any major production, quality, safety, or technical issues to the Production Supervisor/Manager

- Previous experience in the same industry is a must
