Position Overview

- Oversee all daily production operations across Universal Beverages Company’s beverage manufacturing lines — planning the production schedule for each shift, allocating personnel and resources effectively, and maintaining a clear, accurate picture of line performance, output volumes, and any operational deviations throughout the shift
- Manage and monitor production line performance in real time — identifying and addressing line stoppages, speed losses, changeover delays, and efficiency losses promptly and effectively to ensure that daily production targets are met or exceeded without compromising product quality or worker safety
- Set clear, measurable production targets for each shift — communicating expectations clearly to the production team at the start of every shift, monitoring progress continuously throughout, and taking proactive corrective action when output rates or quality indicators show signs of deviation from plan
Quality Standards — Coordination with QC Department
- Work closely with the Quality Control department to ensure all beverage products produced on the line meet defined quality specifications — monitoring in-process quality checks, responding promptly to quality deviations identified during production, and ensuring non-conforming product is correctly identified, segregated, and managed in line with QC procedures
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and hygiene standards across all production areas — ensuring the production team maintains the standards of personal hygiene, equipment cleanliness, and workspace organization that beverage manufacturing quality and food safety requirements demand at all times
- Support the resolution of quality issues and customer complaints related to production — participating in root-cause analysis investigations, implementing corrective actions on the production floor, and following up to verify that quality improvements are sustained after corrective action
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain and enforce high standards of health, safety, and hygiene across all production areas and for all production team members — conducting daily safety briefings, monitoring safe working practices throughout the shift, and taking immediate corrective action when unsafe behaviors or conditions are observed
- Ensure full compliance with UAE workplace health and safety regulations and Universal Beverages Company’s internal safety policies and procedures — creating a production environment where all team members work safely and confidently, and where safety is understood as a non-negotiable operating standard
Team Leadership, Development & Performance Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop the production team — setting a high-performance example through your own visible commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency; providing regular, constructive feedback to team members; supporting skills development; and building a positive team culture that drives consistent operational performance
- Manage team attendance, shift planning, and task allocation — ensuring every production shift is appropriately staffed, that team members are assigned to roles that match their skills and training, and that cover arrangements are in place for planned and unplanned absences
Maintenance Liaison & Equipment Uptime
- Coordinate proactively with the Maintenance department to manage planned and unplanned production equipment maintenance — communicating emerging equipment issues early, scheduling planned maintenance windows to minimize production disruption, and supporting rapid resolution of breakdowns that affect line performance
- Maintain clear production records of equipment performance, downtime events, and maintenance interventions — providing maintenance and management with accurate, timely data that supports informed decisions about equipment servicing, replacement, and reliability improvement
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in production line efficiency, waste reduction, changeover time, and team productivity — contributing to Universal Beverages Company’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence across its Dubai beverage manufacturing facility
- Monitor production KPIs — including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), waste rates, line efficiency, and quality rejection rates — and use this data to drive targeted improvement initiatives that progressively enhance the competitiveness and profitability of the production operation
Requirements & Preferred Profile
Core Requirements
- Proven experience in beverage manufacturing or FMCG production supervision — candidates with direct beverage plant experience will be given strong preference; experience in food manufacturing, liquid filling, or related FMCG production will also be considered
