Position Overview
This SCADA Resident Engineer role prepares and validates design, deployment, and configuration of SCADA platforms and related infrastructure, ensures the validity of the overall technical solution, supervises SCADA, PLC, and DCS installation, testing, and commissioning activities, reviews and validates instrumentation documents including I/O Lists, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Instrument Index, and System Architecture, prepares all relevant documentation for material receipt, inspection, and installation, coordinates OTN and substation infrastructure configuration, ensures control room AV integration, supports DCIM solutions, assists with cybersecurity services, integrates weather station systems, liaises with customers for approvals and permits, and oversees daily partner team activities toward established project milestones.

- Coordinate configuration of OTN (Optical Transport Network) and substation infrastructure
- Support deployment of IT hosting infrastructure and related support systems
- Ensure proper integration of control room AV systems, video walls, and technical furniture
Cybersecurity, DCIM & Site Coordination
- Support outside plant cabling and DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) solutions
- Assist with cybersecurity services — including firewall and antivirus security implementations
- Integrate weather station systems into the overall SCADA and monitoring platform
- Liaise with customers to arrange necessary approvals and permits for site activities
