Position Overview
The Senior Scientist at ADM Nutrition in Dubai is a hands-on, customer-facing R&D role embedded in the company’s EMEA beverage application laboratory. Key Responsibilities
Beverage Application Development & Sample Creation
- Develop a strong and comprehensive understanding of ADM Nutrition’s complete product and service portfolio — becoming a credible, knowledgeable scientific partner for beverage customers across the EMEA region
- Take full ownership and responsibility for the creation, production, and adaptation of taste samples — including modifications of ADM products based on specific customer requirements and market applications
- Release samples for customer evaluation — ensuring each sample is produced to the correct specification, labelled accurately, documented fully, and dispatched on time to meet customer project timelines
- Work confidently with fine chemicals throughout all laboratory activities — maintaining precise, disciplined, and safe working practices that comply with ADM safety standards and best practice at all times
Customer Project Management & B2B Execution
- Take complete ownership of B2B customer projects — managing all activities from initial brief through formulation development, sample production, evaluation support, and final project delivery
- Coordinate multiple customer projects simultaneously — applying strong project management skills to prioritise effectively, communicate proactively, and ensure every project meets its timeline and quality objectives
- Ensure all project activities are delivered in line with agreed timelines, safety standards, and ADM business objectives — maintaining full project documentation and communication records throughout

Cross-Functional EMEA Collaboration

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science & Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a closely related scientific field — required for this senior scientist position in ADM’s beverage application laboratory
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline is particularly advantageous and actively preferred for this senior scientific level role
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in beverage product development and applications — with a track record of delivering successful formulation projects in a B2B food ingredient or nutrition environment
