Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Officer at Nestlé Kabirwala is a hands-on field and laboratory quality role within one of Pakistan’s most important dairy supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System Implementation
- Implement and uphold Nestlé Quality Management Systems (NQMS) and food safety standards consistently across all regional milk collection field operations.
- Ensure all milk receiving, testing, and dispatch activities are conducted in full compliance with Nestlé’s established quality procedures and protocols.
- Support internal and external audits related to quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance at the Kabirwala site and surrounding field operations.
- Maintain complete and accurate quality documentation, audit records, and compliance reports at all times.
Milk Testing & Quality Compliance
- Conduct comprehensive milk testing and quality compliance checks during milk receiving and dispatch stages to ensure all fresh milk meets Nestlé’s quality specifications.
- Monitor milk rejection rates, volume loss/gain, and quality deviations — analyzing trends and supporting corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper coordination of transport activities to maintain cold chain integrity and product quality from collection points to the processing facility.
- Investigate quality non-conformances at the collection point and initiate corrective actions in collaboration with field teams and suppliers.
Laboratory Management & GLP
- Maintain all laboratory equipment, instruments, and testing tools to the highest operational standards, ensuring regular calibration and preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Uphold Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards across all testing and analytical activities conducted at the Kabirwala site laboratory.
- Ensure all laboratory records, test results, and calibration logs are accurately maintained and readily accessible for review or audit purposes.
Team Coaching & Quality Culture
- Coach, develop, and build the capability of field teams on Fresh Milk Quality Norms, Nestlé QMS practices, and food safety standards through regular engagement and practical training.
- Promote a proactive quality culture within the field operations team — encouraging ownership of quality standards at every stage of milk collection and handling.
- Support workplace safety compliance across all field and laboratory activities, ensuring all personnel follow Nestlé’s health and safety requirements.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, or Chemistry — required for this role
- A background in dairy science, milk quality, or food safety will be given strong preference during candidate shortlisting

Experience Requirements
