 Position Overview

The Food Safety and Hygiene Supervisor at this 5-star Dubai hotel is responsible for maintaining and upgrading sanitation standards across the entire property — from kitchens and storage areas to receiving docks and waste disposal zones.   • Assist in the implementation of corrective actions and verify closure of findings from inspections, audits, and microbiological sampling results

Training & Team Development

  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for all food handlers in collaboration with departmental heads and process owners
  • Provide ongoing guidance to the team to enhance overall food safety competence and hygiene awareness
  • Develop and deliver training materials aligned with HACCP, CP-FS, and UAE municipality requirements
  • Build a culture of food safety excellence across all departments interacting with food preparation and service

Record Maintenance & Documentation

  • Efficiently maintain all records related to the hotel’s sanitation, hygiene programs, and food safety audits
  • Ensure all documentation meets UAE food safety regulation standards and is audit-ready at all times

Coordination & Cross-Departmental Support

  • Coordinate with all department heads and provide expert support on hygiene-related issues across the organisation
  • Serve as the key point of contact for all internal and external food safety inspections and municipality audits

 Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, or a closely related field

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food safety and hygiene within the UAE hospitality or restaurant industry
