Position Overview
This Food Quality Lab Officer role centers on food quality assurance at GMG’s Farm Fresh division in Dubai. You will operate laboratory instruments, conduct microbiological and chemical testing on raw materials and finished products, maintain compliance with food safety regulations, and support production teams with accurate, timely test results.

Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Testing & Analysis
- Operate laboratory instruments for daily quality testing
- Conduct microbiological and chemical testing on samples
- Record and verify test data for accuracy
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain compliance with UAE food safety regulations and standards
- Support internal and external food safety audits
- Document non-conformances and corrective actions
Production Coordination
- Coordinate testing schedules with production departments
- Communicate quality results promptly to relevant teams
- Assist in resolving quality deviations on the production line
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
Experience
- 3-4 years of laboratory experience in the food industry
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of microbiological and chemical testing methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000)
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation
