Position Overview
This Mechanical Engineering Specialist role at Cvsair HVAC Systems supports the design, selection, and optimization of HVAC and ventilation systems for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will prepare and review mechanical designs and layouts, perform sizing and performance calculations, use CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Revit, and collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to interpret specifications and prepare technical proposals.

Key Responsibilities
HVAC Design & Mechanical Engineering
- Support the design, selection, and optimization of HVAC and ventilation systems
- Prepare and review mechanical designs and layouts for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects
- Perform calculations and use CAD tools to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements
Technical Proposals & Client Collaboration
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to interpret project specifications
- Prepare technical proposals and provide engineering support during bidding and execution phases
- Review technical documentation and shop drawings with suppliers and project stakeholders
Installation, Commissioning & Troubleshooting
- Coordinate with suppliers and support installation and commissioning teams
- Troubleshoot mechanical and airflow issues on active projects
- Participate in quality and safety reviews across project phases
Standards & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory codes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and product applications
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Professional certifications in HVAC or building services are an advantage
Technical Skills
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated HVAC and ventilation systems experience
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar for mechanical layouts and equipment detailing
- Well-developed analytical skills for calculations, system sizing, and performance analysis
Essential Skills
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and client discussions
- Project management capabilities to handle multiple assignments and coordinate stakeholders
- Familiarity with international and regional HVAC standards and codes; Middle East market experience is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai full-time
