Key Responsibilities
HR Operations, Policy & Compliance
- Ensure all HR operations, KBR procedures, and company policies are efficient, consistently applied, and in full compliance with UAE legislation, local labour regulations, and international HR best practices
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies that align with KBR’s global standards while reflecting the specific requirements of UAE and broader Middle Eastern employment law
- Coordinate and participate in workplace incident investigations and reporting — working in close collaboration with KBR’s HSE team leads and advisors to ensure HR and HSE goals are met within established timelines
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and business partners — including local, provincial, and government HR and HSE regulatory agencies in the UAE and across the Middle East
Full Employee Lifecycle — Mobilisation to Demobilisation
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle — from initial mobilisation and onboarding through to contract management, day-to-day HR support, performance management, and eventual demobilisation — ensuring a seamless, professional employee experience at every stage
- Prepare, issue, and manage employment contracts for all new hires — and issue contract amendments as required throughout the duration of each employment relationship in full compliance with KBR procedures
- Responsible for successfully onboarding all new hires in accordance with KBR company policies and procedures — ensuring every new employee has a structured, welcoming, and compliant first experience with the organisation
- Interact with employees on a regular basis to respond to queries, provide HR guidance, and ensure they feel supported, informed, and valued throughout their time with KBR’s Dubai operations
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Liaison
- Administer compensation and benefit plans across KBR’s Dubai workforce — ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of all employee benefits, allowances, and entitlements in line with contract terms and UAE regulations
- Liaise effectively with the Payroll team to respond to employee queries related to salaries, deductions, allowances, and payroll processing — acting as the clear, reliable bridge between employees and the payroll function
- Coordinate with Global Mobility and HSE teams regarding KBR medical requirements, international mobility processes, and health-related employee support activities across the UAE and Middle East region
- Manage employee leave administration — tracking, recording, and reporting all leave types accurately within SAP and Workday HRIS systems to ensure compliance and accurate payroll integration
Talent Acquisition & Performance Management
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes as needed — supporting hiring managers with job briefs, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management for KBR’s Dubai operations
