Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Develop Eurocert’s business in Abu Dhabi and across UAE markets by proactively identifying, approaching, and converting new clients for inspection, certification, and audit services in the industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Promote Eurocert’s full range of inspection and certification activities on both a local Abu Dhabi basis and through worldwide client engagement — building brand awareness, credibility, and commercial relationships across target markets
- Apply high organisational and marketing skills to position Eurocert’s services effectively — developing compelling proposals, conducting client presentations, and following through on opportunities with persistence and professionalism
- Act as a trusted technical liaison between Eurocert and its clients — understanding customer needs deeply, translating them into appropriate certification and inspection solutions, and maintaining long-term client relationships that generate repeat business
Inspection, Audit & Certification Execution
- Perform hands-on inspections, technical audits, and certification activities for clients across mechanical engineering, manufacturing process, systems management, and environmental discipline areas — to the highest professional standards
- Meet Eurocert’s rigorous quality standards consistently across all inspection and certification deliverables — maintaining up-to-date working knowledge of relevant technologies, engineering best practices, and applicable federal, state, and UAE regulatory requirements
- Manage and oversee inspection and certification projects from initial concept and scope definition through full project completion — ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and Eurocert’s quality and compliance requirements on time
- Maintain full system functionality across active certification and inspection projects — ensuring documentation, records, reporting, and client communication remain accurate, complete, and professionally managed throughout each engagement
Junior Engineer Development & Technical Leadership
- Develop, train, and educate junior engineers within Eurocert’s Abu Dhabi team — providing structured technical mentorship, hands-on guidance, and professional development support that builds the team’s engineering capability and confidence
- Guide the overall technical direction of engineering activities — setting quality benchmarks, sharing best practices, and ensuring all team members maintain the professional standards required for inspection and certification work
- Act as the primary technical liaison between Eurocert’s engineers and its clients — translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance for both internal engineers and external customer stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field from an accredited university or institution — this is a firm educational requirement for this Abu Dhabi engineering role at Eurocert
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent professional engineering licence is a strongly preferred additional qualification for this inspection and certification engineering position in the UAE
Experience Requirements
