- Ensure the consistent quality of mechanical engineering discipline output and full compliance with the appropriate project engineering processes and standards
- Study and review tender drawings and project specifications in detail — raising RFIs (Requests for Information) where technical clarification is required to protect design integrity
Design Review & Engineering Compliance
- Ensure the preparation and thorough review of mechanical design solutions — verifying full compliance with all applicable client requirements, Design Standards, Codes of Practice, and good engineering principles
- Deliver design solutions on time and to agreed cost and quality requirements, ensuring HVAC and mechanical systems meet project performance specifications
- Apply thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical engineering techniques to evaluate design options, resolve technical conflicts, and optimize system performance across projects

Procurement Technical Support
- Provide structured technical support to the Procurement Department for mechanical equipment and materials sourcing activities
- Review and technically evaluate supplier and subcontractor offers received for mechanical works, providing clear technical assessment and recommendation
- Ensure procurement decisions are aligned with project specifications, engineering standards, and overall mechanical design intent
Local Authority Liaison & Approvals
- Liaise directly with Dubai local authorities for the review, submission, approval, and inspection of mechanical service drawings across all applicable project scopes
- Manage the authority approval process efficiently — ensuring all mechanical drawings and documentation meet local regulatory requirements and are submitted on schedule

Educational Requirements
