As Junior Accountant / Finance Executive at Shipa Freight in Dubai, you will take ownership of financial operations across three companies — handling complex accounting entries, management reporting, intercompany transaction reconciliation, UAE tax compliance, cash flow forecasting, banking operations, and full annual audit coordination. Key Responsibilities
Multi-Entity Account Management
- Oversee and manage accounts for Shipa Freight Solution LLC and KSK Logistics LLC (UAE) and Boxit4me Inc. (USA)
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of all company accounts and supervise complex accounting entries across all three entities
- Coordinate financial activities and intercompany transactions with other Shipa Group entities across multiple markets
- Review and accurately reconcile all intercompany transactions to maintain clean, audit-ready financial records at all times
Financial Reporting & Management Support
- Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports to senior management for informed business decision-making
- Apply strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards across all entities and jurisdictions
- Develop and maintain accurate, rolling cash flow forecasts for each company to support working capital management
- Ensure all financial data is organised, accurate, and accessible for both routine reporting and audit requirements
UAE Tax Compliance & Banking Operations
- Ensure full compliance with UAE local tax laws, VAT regulations, and applicable financial regulatory requirements
- Supervise all banking transactions and actively manage cash flow across UAE and US entity bank accounts
- Prepare and manage banking operations — covering both domestic UAE and international cross-border transactions
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions professionally to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant financial operations
Annual Audit Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead the full annual audit process across all three companies, serving as the primary contact for external auditors
- Prepare all audit-required documentation, financial schedules, and supporting evidence in a thorough and timely manner
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth, on-schedule audit completion every year
- Identify and address any financial discrepancies or compliance gaps ahead of audit periods to minimise review risk
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field — required for this position
Experience Requirements
- 5 years of progressive experience in a junior management finance or accounting role
- Proven track record as an accountant managing full-cycle financial operations across multiple entities or jurisdictions
- Prior experience in UAE-based accounting with in-depth knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT, and financial regulations
- Demonstrated experience in banking operations — both domestic UAE and international transaction management
Essential Skills & Proficiencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards for accurate multi-entity financial management
