Position Overview
This Logistics Superintendent role involves overseeing and optimizing logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations across Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, transportation, and delivery schedules, manage warehouse personnel and daily logistics operations at project sites, coordinate with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and vendors, monitor inventory levels using ERP systems such as SAP, ensure HSE compliance across all storage and transportation activities, and track logistics performance metrics to resolve supply chain bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities
Shipping, Receiving & Transportation
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, transportation, and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely coordination of material movement across project sites
- Support project execution by ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment
- Manage transportation planning across multiple logistics touchpoints
Warehouse & Site Operations Management
- Manage warehouse personnel and daily logistics operations at project sites
- Oversee day-to-day warehousing activities to maintain operational efficiency
- Lead a team responsible for accurate storage and handling of project materials
- Ensure warehouse operations align with overall project timelines
Vendor & 3PL Coordination
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and vendors
- Ensure seamless material movement across the supply chain network
- Build strong working relationships with external logistics partners
- Resolve vendor-related issues that could impact project schedules
Inventory, ERP & Performance Tracking
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records using ERP systems such as SAP
- Track logistics performance metrics and proactively identify supply chain bottlenecks
- Resolve identified bottlenecks to keep material flow uninterrupted
- Maintain accurate, auditable logistics and inventory documentation
HSE Compliance
- Ensure all storage, handling, and transportation activities comply with company HSE standards
- Promote a strong safety culture across logistics and warehouse operations
- Support audits and inspections related to health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Enforce HSE regulations consistently across all logistics activities
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 7+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or manufacturing supervision
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Construction, Industrial, or Large-Scale Infrastructure Projects is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline
