Position Overview
Innovo is looking for a meticulous and committed Quality Engineer to join their Dubai construction team. You will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of construction activity across Innovo’s projects meets the highest quality standards, full project specification compliance, and applicable UAE legal and HSE requirements. From conducting site inspections and verifying test reports to issuing Non-Conformance Reports and maintaining the snagging list, your work will be central to protecting Innovo’s quality reputation and delivering projects that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities
Site Quality Supervision & Specification Compliance
- Collaborate closely with Innovo’s operations team to execute all on-site construction work in strict accordance with project specifications, drawings, and approved method statements
- Conduct and diligently follow up on all site inspection requests with external consultants to ensure full compliance with every project quality requirement
- Monitor construction activities continuously to identify any deviations from approved specifications before they escalate into costly non-conformances
- Maintain a thorough and working knowledge of all active project quality plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements across all assigned sites
Material Inspection & Test Report Verification
- Ensure all materials delivered to construction sites are thoroughly inspected and confirmed to conform to specified project requirements before use
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and fully traceable records of all material inspections, delivery dockets, and conformance verification activities
- Verify that all laboratory and field test reports are fully aligned with contract requirements and flag any non-compliant results immediately
- Maintain meticulous detailed records of all test report verifications and ensure documentation is always current, organized, and audit-ready
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) & Snagging Management
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) promptly and accurately whenever construction activities or materials fail to meet project quality standards
- Track all open NCRs through to satisfactory close-out, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified effectively
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outstanding balanced works and the complete project snagging list across all active sites
- Follow up systematically on all outstanding snagging items and ensure they are resolved before project handover milestones are reached
Daily Quality Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily quality reports detailing all site activities, inspection outcomes, and compliance status to project management
- Maintain thorough and well-organized quality documentation covering all inspections, approvals, NCRs, test results, and material conformance records
- Support project teams with accurate and timely quality data to inform decision-making and maintain project programme and quality alignment
- Ensure all quality documentation is maintained to the standard required for internal audits, client reviews, and regulatory compliance inspections
HSE Compliance & Legal Adherence
- Ensure strict and unwavering adherence to Innovo’s HSE policies, site safety procedures, and all applicable UAE construction regulations at all times
- Report any HSE incidents, near misses, or violations immediately and accurately to the relevant project management and HSE team members
- Maintain full compliance with all legal requirements related to construction quality assurance and site operations under UAE law
- Actively contribute to a safe, quality-conscious, and compliance-driven site culture across every Innovo construction project in Dubai
Qualifications & Requirements
