Position Overview

The Supply Chain Operator at Accenture Hamburg works directly with leading international aerospace clients to help their global supply chains take flight. You will support clients through digital transformation journeys — rebuilding logistics chains, managing demand planning, overseeing quality management, and developing new process improvement measures. You will coordinate with customers on-site in Augsburg, liaise with suppliers, document project milestones, and create meaningful data-driven reports.  Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Planning & Project Coordination

  • Take full responsibility for overarching planning processes, ensuring all project stakeholders are actively involved and aligned throughout
  • Synchronize the goals of all project participants and ensure that all functional requirements are met on time and within scope
  • Document project milestones meticulously and combine findings with solid data to create meaningful, decision-ready reports for leadership
  • Proactively communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities to clients, internal teams, and senior management

Supply Chain Strengthening & Process Improvement

  • Analyze existing supply chain processes in depth and develop new improvement measures that complement and build on current operations
  • Lead the subsequent implementation of process improvement initiatives across logistics chains and supplier networks
  • Apply Lean Management principles and AI tools to drive leaner, more efficient and resilient supply chain operations
  • Support clients in rebuilding logistics chains during active digital transformation programs in the aerospace sector

Demand Planning & Quality Management

  • Manage demand planning activities to ensure supply chain accuracy, reliability, and responsiveness across client operations
  • Oversee quality management within the supply chain to maintain the highest standards of supplier and logistics performance
  • Conduct risk analysis to identify supply chain vulnerabilities and develop robust mitigation strategies
  • Ensure all supply chain activities align with client compliance requirements and international aerospace industry standards

Customer & Supplier Coordination

  • Handle direct on-site communication with customers in Augsburg, building trusted relationships and ensuring project alignment
  • Liaise with suppliers, verify their individual qualifications, and manage supplier performance across the supply network
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across client organisations to drive integrated supply chain solutions
  • Leverage Accenture’s global network to bring best-practice insights and innovative ideas to every client engagement

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Economics, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field

Experience Requirements

  • Proven familiarity with Lean Management principles and AI tools as applied to supply chain and logistics operations
  • Experience in risk analysis within supply chain or logistics environments
  • Prior aerospace industry experience is a significant advantage and highly valued
