Position Overview
This Assistant QA Manager role at INDPT is one of the most multi-dimensional quality assurance positions available in Dubai’s F&B sector in 2026. You will support the QA Manager across an exceptionally broad portfolio of responsibilities — from food safety management systems and central kitchen quality oversight to experience quality audits, sensory evaluations, supplier approvals, digital QA platform management, and GCC franchise support.
The role requires a food science professional with strong analytical skills, leadership capability, hands-on HACCP and ISO 22000 experience, and the unique ability to assess both microbiological food safety and the qualitative dimensions of guest experience quality — from CCP validation on the production line to evaluating the ambience, scent, and hospitality of a dining outlet. For MSc-level food science professionals with franchise or multi-outlet QA experience, this is an outstanding career opportunity in Dubai in 2026.
Why This Role Matters: In a multi-brand franchise food business, quality is everything — and it must be consistent across every outlet, every kitchen, and every guest interaction. The Assistant QA Manager at INDPT is the professional who makes that consistency possible — connecting food safety science with guest experience standards, supplier quality with product integrity, and CAPA data with real operational improvement. This role offers a genuinely unique scope that bridges technical food safety with hospitality excellence across the UAE and GCC.
Key Responsibilities in Detail
Quality Assurance & Food Safety Compliance
- Support the implementation of the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) across all INDPT outlets, central kitchens, and franchise locations in the UAE.
- Conduct internal audits covering hygiene, documentation, traceability, cold chain integrity, and CCP validation — ensuring all critical control points are properly monitored and documented.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with national and international food safety requirements — preparing all outlets and central kitchens for regulatory inspections at all times.
Experience Quality Program
- Perform Experience Quality audits across all INDPT brands — evaluating host behavior, service rituals, emotional hospitality, ambience, scent, and lighting standards.
- Conduct mystery visits and follow-up verifications to classify non-conformities, track quality trends, and ensure continuous improvement across the guest experience.
Central Kitchen & Production Oversight
- Verify CCPs, calibration, sanitation, line hygiene, and documentation across central kitchen operations — ensuring production consistency and food safety compliance.
- Support shelf-life studies, batch consistency, product standardization, recipe adherence, cooking techniques, and final product stability assessments.
Supplier & Raw Material Approval
- Assist in supplier audits and evaluations — reviewing COAs, Halal certificates, microbiology reports, and GSO compliance documentation.
- Maintain the Approved Product List (APL) and track non-conforming ingredients — managing supplier quality performance data and escalating issues appropriately.
CAPA, Reporting & Digital QA
- Initiate, track, close, and verify the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) — conducting root cause training and ensuring permanent elimination of recurring non-conformities.
- Maintain QA dashboards tracking audit scores, quality trends, and NC recurrence — preparing weekly and monthly QA performance reports for management review.
- Manage and support digital QA platforms including Jolt, GoAudits, and Alert65 — ensuring accurate data entry, report generation, and system maintenance.
Sensory Evaluation & Food Quality
- Conduct structured sensory evaluations — assessing aroma, appearance, texture, temperature, flavor, aftertaste, and mouthfeel against approved product standards.
- Validate recipe adherence, portioning, plating, and cooking methods while identifying sensory faults such as off-flavors, oxidation, and oil degradation in finished products.
- Support central kitchens with sensory templates, calibration sessions, and competitor product benchmarking activities.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education
- Master’s degree in Food Science or equivalent in a closely related field — required for this senior-level QA management position
- A strong academic and professional foundation in food safety science, quality management, sensory evaluation, or food technology
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the Food Industries — in a QA, food safety, or quality management role within F&B, hospitality, or FMCG
- Minimum 1+ year of management or supervisory experience — demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team
- Experience in franchise multi-outlet QA environments or GCC operations is a significant advantage

- Experienced in Sensory Evaluation of food — structured sensory methodology and calibration
